British Council Malaysia
Offers tests in 17 locations (KL, Penang, Johor, Sarawak, Sabah). Registration requires a valid Passport or Malaysian ID.
IDP Education
20 venues nationwide. Known for friendly service and "One Skill Retake" options for eligible candidates.
Required Documents
- Passport: Valid original passport (Must bring on exam day).
- MyKad: Accepted for Malaysian citizens (British Council).
- Payment: Credit card or FPX banking (RM 930).

Writing Task 2 mastery
- Address ALL parts: If the prompt asks for "advantages and disadvantages," you MUST cover both. Ignoring one kills your score.
- Paragraph Structure: 1 Intro, 2 Body Paragraphs (One Idea Each), 1 Conclusion. Don't mix random ideas.
- Complex Sentences: Use "Although," "While," "Despite" to show grammatical range. Avoid simple "Subject-Verb-Object" repetition.
Speaking Fluency Hacks
- Extend Answers: Never give one-word answers. Use the "Answer + Reason + Example" formula.
- Don't Memorize: Examiners spot scripts instantly. Memorize structures and linking words (e.g., "On the other hand"), not full answers.
- Fillers are OK: Use "Well," "Let me think," or "That's an interesting question" to buy time naturally instead of silence.
