3.1 China-Malaysia Visa Free (30 Days)
Effective Date: 2025-07-17
Chinese citizens holding ordinary passports can stay in Malaysia for up to 30 days visa-free for tourism, family visits, or business.
Mandatory: MDAC Registration
Within 72 hours before departure, you MUST fill out the Malaysia Digital Arrival Card (MDAC) online and print the confirmation. This is mandatory.
Fill MDAC NowEntry Requirements:
- Passport (6+ months validity)
- Return flight ticket
- Hotel booking
- Proof of sufficient funds
3.2 eVISA (Electronic Visa)
For travelers who do not qualify for visa-free entry or need multiple entries.
- Portal: MyVISA 2.0
- Processing Time: 3-5 working days
- Fee: Approx RM80 + Service Fee
3.3 ENTRI
A fast track option, though less used under the mutual visa exemption policy.
- Limit: Must depart within 15 days, direct flight or specific checkpoints only.
Important: Sarawak Entry Stamp
Regardless of visa type, you MUST get a separate [Sarawak Entry Stamp] at the immigration counter upon arrival in Sarawak. Missing this stamp leads to severe fines upon exit!
