The Electronic Travel Authority (ETA) (subclass 601) is an Australian visa that allows eligible passport holders to visit Australia for tourism or business purposes. With this visa, you can enter Australia multiple times over a 12-month period, staying up to 3 three months per visit.

Scanning Passport Data Page: Scanning the personal information page of your passport.

Reading Passport eChip: Using your device's NFC capability to read the electronic chip in your passport.
Please note that the Australian ETA app requires your device to have NFC capability to read the passport chip.
